Our mission is to unite human and financial resources to enhance the quality of life in the Northshore region
To achieve this mission we serve DONORS, support NONPROFITS, and drive CIVIC LEADERSHIP in the region. We offer innovative solutions to help nonprofits, corporations and individuals bring their charitable visions to life. Acting as a catalyst for philanthropic activity and a central driver of civic efforts that enhance the place we call home.
Established in 2007 as result of a bold vision of regional leaders who believed that the Northshore has its own unique identity and is an ever growing force in the culture, economy and success of South Louisiana. Today, the NCF continues to enjoy a strong partnership with our colleagues at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation as we work together to use our region’s philanthropic resources effectively and efficiently.
The NCF serves the entire Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain, including St. Helena, Tangipahoa, Washington and St. Tammany parishes and is headquartered in Northshare, our nonprofit co-working campus located in downtown Covington which serves as a civic hub for our community.
