Join us as we host a healthy group of nonprofit professionals to discuss the challenge of accepting decisions that you might not fully support. In an open candid discussion, Lois Smyth of the Baton Rouge Area Foundation leads us in an exploration of how to best use communication techniques to connect with your superior while understanding their leadership style.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 8:30am-10am, FREE - Prospect Research: Your Roadmap to Prospect Identification & Major Gifts
Join us at the Northshore Community Foundation to learn more about the benefits of prospect research and how fundraising intelligence can help to enhance your fundraising strategies. Stacey Emick Howell, CFRE, will provide an overview of proactive prospect research to help identify prospects, highlight free resources you can use to evaluate capacity and affinity, and share information about thought leaders and vendor resources. No money in your budget for prospect research? Not a problem, Stacey will discuss building your action plan to start with small steps, advocate on behalf of the ROI of a research function, and implementation ideas to carry out precision prospect development. She will also walk through a cheat sheet for calculating wealth capacity.
